Ever thought about making your own disinfectant at home? Hand sanitizers and alcohols have now become must-have items as part of the ‘new normal.’ We are encouraged to practice proper sanitation at all times to remain safe and healthy. With the high demand for disinfectant products like sanitizers and alcohols, we must find a way to always make it available in our homes. This is why today’s tutorial is a DIY Hand Purifier.





Here’s what you’ll need:


  • 40ml Vodka
  • 5ml Glycerin
  • 45ml Aloe Vera Gel
  • 10 drops of Thieves Oil
  • 3 drops of Peppermint Oil
  • 3 Containers
  • Weighing Scale
  • Syringe
  • Beaker
  • Stirring Rod

Note: You can use an alternative for the last three items.

Here’s the Step-by-step:


Measure the amount needed for vodka, glycerin, and aloe vera.


Stir until it thickens.

Step 3

Prepare the oils.

Pour the oils carefully.

Stir the mixture.


Step 4

Prepare your containers and syringe.

Put the mixture in the syringe. Put in a little amount, just enough to fit the one container.

Put it in the container one by one and you’re done!
